Tonight's question was very specific.
What did Moses do to bring forth water from the rock at Kadesh?

The answer was that he struck the rock TWICE. The answer is in Numbers 20:1-11. The key to the answer was that he struck the rock twice. Moses did this in disobedience to the Lord's command to SPEAK to the rock. This act of disobedience prevented Moses from entering the promised land.
