Amy Douglas
Amy Douglas has always shared a passion for music and a Love for the Lord. She accepted Christ at age 6, growing up in a small church in the even smaller town of Red Oak, TX. At the age of 17 Amy felt God calling her to ministry but was unsure of direction. She graduated college with a bachelors in music and it was then that God revealed to her a much larger plan. Get A Life Ministry was born when God called Amy and her husband Jared, a member of Team Impact, to full time speaking and Music Ministry in 1997. Since its inception "Get a Life" ministries has taken the Douglas' all over the country visiting and effecting thousands upon thousands of individuals for the body of Christ.
Amy's songs come from a very personal perspective. She writes as a mom, wife and daughter. Much of her music is infused with a sense of patriotism because both her husband and her father served in the United States military.
