Sidewalk Prophets
Sidewalk Prophets was born out of Anderson University when two music loving Christians named Dave Frey and Ben McDonald connected. And although the mid-westerners don't consider themselves a worship band, they do say that they are perfectly content to play more worship music than original recordings during their concerts.
It's a goal they have for their daily lives - integrate worship in all ways possible! That is what motivates them to tour 150+ dates a year, sleeping in closets, and missing family. They are grinding out their calling and God is blessing them with success.
History: A demo tape landed them in a campus talent contest, which somehow connected them to Audio Adrenaline's Will McGinniss, landing them an opening gig for Audio Adrenaline and Jeremy Camp even before they were signed to a major record label. The rest of the story has been lived out on the road, in churches and anywhere that will have this dynamic worship team.
