New month - new weekend - things are lookin' up!
And Happy All Saints Day!
ARTIST OF THE DAY
FFH
FFH was orginally called Far From Home. Formed by Jeromy Deibler and Brian Smith in 1991 - the band added two more members: Jennifer Deibler (Jeromy's wife) and Michael Boggs. Working independently, FFH produced and released six albums, while maintaining a productive touring schedule. Ultimately, the quartet signed with Essential Records.
Brian Smith transitioned into other ministries and Michael Boggs launched a solo career, though still participates in FFH recordings. At the heart of the group is a family who has faced tremendous hardship. The Dieblers took time off from music in 2006 to serve in South Africa. While abroad, Jeromy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
FFH is back to business - having released several more albums since 2008. Their latest release is a bit of a departure for the stylistically-poppy group. The Way We Worship spotlights Jennifer's voice more than Jeromy - and has a rustic, almost-country charm. The concept of the album was born our of Jennifer loving to sing lullabies to her children, Hutch and Hope Sadie-Claire.
Home: The Dieblers make their home just outside of Nashville, TN - where they lead worship at Fellowship Bible Church when not touring with FFH.
