ARTIST OF THE DAY
Shaun Groves

Shaun Groves became a devoted follower of Jesus in the 6th Grade. Immediately a fire was lit in his heart to use music for God. He practiced and studied, earned a full ride scholarship and graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor's degree in music composition. His songwriting style is often introspective. It is insightful and deep. But depth comes from times of despair.

Time on the road, away from his family left Shaun depleted and his relationships strangled. He took some time off to focus on family and partner with Compassion International. Helping orphans around the globe has become a major focus of his life, let alone with music career.

Shaun's career has taken a multimedia approach using his website to blog, share insight on Twitter and Facebook and make YouTube videos about everything from what his kids had for lunch, to how the Church can help communities. Shaun likes to say he has the "gift of sarcasm" - he uses wit and charm to always point back to the cross.

Album: Third World Symphony

Tour: October 30th at Bethel Baptist Church in Wilmington, DE
