#70. Cove Road in Nanticoke for a swim in the Bay

One of my favorite movies (Gattaca) has a scene where two brothers are swimming in the ocean, racing to see who gives up first and has to swim back to shore. It's a moving scene, where the underdog son wins because he doesn't think about the swim back. Seriously a good movie - worth Netflixing. I personally have grown accustomed to swimming the cement pond, but we have a beautiful Bay for chlorine haters.

Vicky Beeching is a British-born songwriter, musician, writer and communicator. After graduating from Oxford University with a BA and MA, she took the ‘road less traveled’ and pursued full-time music.

Signed to major labels EMI and Columbia (Integrity), Vicky has recorded three full-length albums and toured her music across North America and Europe for the past seven years. Vicky splits her time, living between the UK and the USA. She is a self-confessed geek, always blogging, twittering or dreaming of someday studying for a PHD.

Her random hobbies include juggling fire torches (yes, seriously!), walking, cycling and learning Photoshop, WordPress and SLR photography - plus, she is working on a book right now!
