From my vast experience in riding out hurricanes, there are a few things you will need to have at home for the best experience:

1. Bottled Water
2. Candles
3. A ton of Little Debbie snack cakes

Enjoy!

102.5 Shore Things
Getting to know the Eastern Shore

#53. Boat docking at the Crisfield Marina

This Sunday, the competition is on! The parking big boats competition ... So this probably won't be on ESPN, but it is fun Eastern Shore tradition! There's even a $30,000 prize for the best boat parker-er. It cost $15 per person, but that includes a ton of food, and a whole lot of exciting boat parking ...

#52. Concerts in the Park – The Bandstand at Salisbury City Park.
#51. A nice walk on Assateague Island
#50. A really good oyster sandwich

Have something to add to the list? I'd love for you to email me your ideas: jmillwood@wolc.org

ARTIST OF THE DAY:
New Life Worship

New Life Church in Colorado has a sprawling ministry all about worship that includes a worship school, multiple bands, a choir, and some amazing materials for other churches to use! Jared Anderson, The Desparation Band and Glenn Packiam all come out of the New Life Church music ministry.

A.W. Tozer once wrote, "Thirsty hearts are those whose longings have been wakened by the touch of God within them." And New Life Worship exists to bring people to a place where they can experience that touch from God.

This is their official Ministry Philosopy:

It is our belief that worship is not merely what takes place on weekend services before the sermon; it can happen everyday in everything we are doing. As we offer to God the simple moments and activities of each day, we make our very life an offering of worship, allowing His presence to invade our lives.
