The Joy Ride is on!
The weekend is here!
It's a beautiful Fall Day!
I love simple sentences ending with exclamation points!

102.5 Shore Things
Getting to Know the Eastern Shore!

#91. Church Harvest Fests and Halloween alternatives.

It's become pretty standard tradition in the US for churches to provide safe, family friendly events on Halloween weekend. The churches of Delmarva do it in style! Who knows more about harvests than the bread basket of the mid-Atlantic?!

If your church is offering some family fun this weekend, be sure to tell the world about it on OUR FACEBOOK page!

#90. Jet Skis in Dewey Beach
#89. Harrington Fair
#88. Spences Bazaar
#87. Trap Pond Bike Trail

ARTIST OF THE DAY
David Crowder Band

DCB pushes the limits of Christian music. Just when you think they've hammered out a niche in the praise and worship genre, they release an EP of their songs remixed to techno (See Sunsets & Sushi)! I once saw them in concert, and they rigged a Guitar Hero guitar to a computer synthesizer and played an entire song using the toy guitar.

David and his wife purchased the home of Dr. Pepper in Waco, TX. They converted the barn (where the 23 flavors of Dr. Pepper were perfected) into a music studio and filled it with web cams. Anytime they are home working on new music, they stream it on their website!

This past summer they hosted a worship event in Texas for 10s of thousands of people. They are a founding member of the Passion worship team, tour the world, still lead worship for their home churches in Texas, and continue to surprise with every new album.
