Josh is recuperating from a family Christmas weekend, so Rodney kindly accepted the reigns for the Joy Ride this afternoon. Buckle up - it's going to be a Christmassy ride!

Sidewalk Prophets

Sidewalk Prophets was born out of Anderson University when two music loving Christians named Dave Frey and Ben McDonald connected. And although the mid-westerners don't consider themselves a worship band, they do say that they are perfectly content to play more worship music than original recordings during their concerts. It's a goal they have for their daily lives - integrate worship in all ways possible! That is what motivates them to tour 150+ dates a year, sleeping in closets, and missing family. They are grinding out their calling and God is blessing them with success.

Recently Sidewalk Prophets was featured on a Christmas compilation called Come Now Our King. Their song is Hope Was Born This Night. The entire EP features Chris August, Meredith Andrews, Barlow Girl, and Francesca Battistelli as well!
