I might just have to watch "Independence Day" this weekend. Cause lets face it, there are not a lot of American Revolution films that scream out "watch me!" Though I'm sure PBS will have some thrilling historical narratives this weekend ...

But for me, I celebrate my love of country with Will Smith and Bill Pullman. God Bless America!

102.5 Shore Things
Getting to know the Eastern Shore one thing at a time ...

#9. 4th of July Fireworks over the water – perhaps Rehobeth Beach or the Crisfield pier! Pretty explosions in the sky make me love America even more.

#8. Golf at Nutter's Crossing off Snow Hill Rd in Salisbury.
#7. A walk through the Salisbury Zoo!
#6. Good Mexican food at Cactus Taverna!

Have something to add to the list of 102.5 Shore Things (Stuff to know, do, try, experience, etc. etc. on Delmarva)?
Email them to me! jmillwood@wolc.org

ARTIST OF THE DAY:
Michael Robert

Michael Robert has been through the ringer as a follower of Christ. He and his wife Linda have survived dramatic health issues, car accidents, and the deaths of close loved ones, including Linda's brother to AIDS. Balancing life as a father to 6 kids, leading worship, and touring the country is a fast paced life for a boy who grew up on a ranch in the middle-of-nowhere Oregon!

Raising a family led to Michael putting aside musical ambition and opening his own pest control business. He coaches his kids sports teams and is very involved in their community. God blessed his endeavors and afforded him the opportunity to travel part time with his band and lead worship around the country.
