Tuesday, July 6, 2010

4th of July break is over - time to get back to the grind stone. But it is so hot! Who can focus when the days are beautifully sunny, and the beaches are primed for our enjoyment?! But at least you don't have to suffer through the day - you've got the Joy Ride to make even the hottest of hot afternoons a little more bearable!

102.5 Shore Things

Getting to know the Eastern Shore one thing at a time ...

#11. Seeing all the stars at night.
While enjoying a fantastic 4th of July with my family, laying out on a hill watching fireworks in rural Maryland, I noticed that the orange glow of city lights didn't blot out the beautiful night sky. The sparkling stars (mixed with a fair share of airplanes and satellites) were truly beautiful. Don't take them for granted!

#10. See a sunrise and sunset at Molly's Point at the mouth of the Wicomico River.

Have something to add to the list of 102.5 Shore Things (Stuff to know, do, try, experience, etc. etc. on Delmarva)?

Who is Chad Gentry?

Chad Gentry has released EP's and singles the past few years, trying to break into the Christian music industry. 2009 saw the release of his first full length album "Time to Shine." Chad considers himself first and foremost a music missionary, with a passion to bring the message of Jesus Christ to both church and secular settings. This desire has taken him to many states and many venues to share his songs and his heart.

When not on the road, Chad partners with Murfreesboro, Tennessee area churches (just outside of Nashville) such as LifePoint Church, River Oaks Community Church, and New Vision Baptist Church.
